Silent Sustained Reading Time in Room 18 (SSR)

After lunch each day we spend time reading silently. These children, engrossed in their Reading, were photographed by Samantha, Abby and BaiLin.

  1. SSR is the time to read books and finish work. Everyone in the photos is doing what they're supposed to do at SSR time.

  4. SSR stands for Silent Sustained Reading. We do this everyday after lunch time. In SSR we read books, finish work we haven't done or play a math game on the chromebooks. Some of us read non-fiction or fiction books. I really enjoy SSR time!

  5. SSR is a silent reading time or a finishing work time. Every body seems like they enjoyed their books. It's nice to see some people reading non fiction books to learn more facts.
