Lucy's Autumn Poem

      Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves red, orange, purple, brown, yellow, green Floating softly to the ground

Autumn grass spiked up in the air
Wet from the morning dew.

Autumn sky white, blue or pinkish
Pure white clouds like marshmallows

  1. I really enjoyed reading your poem about autumn Lucy! It was full of adjectives but my favourite part of your autumn poem is your last verse with the simile in it. Pure white clouds like marshmallows. That's a really good simile. When someone reads a poem like yours they can imagine how autumn might look like. Great Effort Lucy!!!

  2. Love your poem Lucy - I liked how you started the sentences each time with "Autumn" then wrote about something different - your poem is just what it is like when we look out the window at the moment!
