Wilmer's Autumn Poem

Autumn Poem

Golden leaves shiny as gold, crunching up in every step

Orange leaves, crunchy as carrots, floating gently down like a descending feather

Red leaves, red as wine scattered all over the soggy grass

  1. I really liked reading your poem Wilmer! You used lots of describing words. I especially liked the part of your poem when you said down like a descending feather. Descending is a really big word to use. I definitely think you ate a dictionary! Great job Wilmer!
